Cambridge Youth Dance Company is an exciting contemporary dance company which launched in October 2016. The company provides performance opportunities to young dancers, from Cambridgeshire, aged 14 - 19, in school years 10-13
The group have performed at regional and national youth dance festivals. In 2017 Cambridge Youth Dance Company were selected to represent the East of Engalnd at One Dance UK's U.dance 2017, the national festival for youth dance.
The group has participated in workshops with companies such as Ace Dance and Music, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Candoco Dance Company, Casson and Friends, Joss Arnott Dance, National Youth Dance Company, Richard Alston Dance Company, Sonia Sabri Company and Tribe as well as networking events and careers development seminars.
We meet weekly, during term time, to explore sessions in contemporary technique, creative skills, choreography and performance. Sessions take place at Impington Village College on Tuesday evenings from 4.45pm - 6.15pm. Fees are £80 per term and Company members must commit to all sessions.

Audition 2019
We are looking for talented, committed, motivated and enthusiastic young people to join Cambridge Youth Dance Company.
We will be holding an audition for new members on Tuesday 17 September, 4.45pm-6.15pm, at Impington Village College, New Road, Impington, Cambrigde, CB24 9LX
The audition includes a contemporary technique class, improvisation and creative tasks: you will not be expected to prepare anything. It is free to attend. If you are successful at audition you will be expected to attend weekly sessions, beginning on Tuesday 24 September.
